Maps of Orange 3G/3G + Business Everywhere (Huawei, Option Fusion, ...) are extremely popular among professionals, but they use the default connection kit Orange Business Everywhere, which can be inconvenient and even cause problems for connections wifi when using the built-in Windows XP to manage wireless profiles.

Here's a method to install the card drivers Orange 3G/3G + and 3G data connections established from the manager of Windows XP.

Prerequisites

You must have aministrateur rights on the system where you want to install the drivers pack.

Before starting the installation, you should remove the card or USB 3G/3G.

Installing the drivers pack of Orange data cards

Once the file is downloaded, run the installation, then select the language and click Next ::

Select models of cards for which you want to install the drivers (in short, choose your card model), then install:

Configuring the modem card / USB 3G

From the Control Panel, select Phone and Modem Options, Modems tab and then select the modem for your card or USB 3G3 / G + then click on Properties. The Modem Properties window opens, go to the Advanced tab and enter + CGDCONT = 1, "ip", "APN" in Extra initialization commands, where: APN = orange.vpn if your data plan has Option VPN APN = internet venture for a subscription "normal":

Finally click on OK.

Creating the connection "RAS" in Windows

From the Network Connections, open the Create New Connection, and click Next:

Select Connect to the corporate network, then Next:

Select Connect Remote Access, then Next:

Select the modem for your card (or USB) 3G / 3 +, and click Next:

Name the connection, such as "3G Internet" then Next:

In the Phone Number field, type * 99 # and click Next:

Indicate whether you want to make available the connection to all users, then Next:

Finally finish the wizard.

The launch window of the connection is displayed:

In Username and Password, enter orange

You can initiate the connection in liquant Dial.

The connection "3G Internet" (as the name given) now appears in the Windows Network Connections.
