PIM Synchronization
This page presents options for synchronizing personal data to Yahoo, Google, AOL / AIM, Windows Live / Hotmail with a data manager on a PC (Outlook, ...) and / or mobile.
Synchronization of data from its Yahoo!
Yahoo! Is (free) available, in addition to Yahoo Mail, other services to manage online contacts (Yahoo! Contacts), its agenda and stains (Yahoo! Calendar) and notes (Yahoo! Block notes).
These services are available on the web, but also on WAP to be accessed from a mobile phone via GPRS or GSM network 3G/3G. But it is also possible to synchronize data with their PC or mobile to be able to view offline.
Yahoo! Provides free disposal several tools to synchronize their Yahoo! With your mobile or PC
- Yahoo! Autosync can synchronize contacts, calendar and tasks and notes from MS Outlook (or MS Outlook Express contacts).
- Yahoo! Go allows you to synchronize contacts, calendar and tasks and notes from his mobile
- Plaxo.com syncs with Yahoo! contacts (as well as all data in Outlook thanks to a plugin)
Unlike Google, Yahoo does not have an interface for IMAP email synchronization (except the iPhone), one POP is available (free), but it does not offer all the possibilities of IMAP.
Also synchronization with the data on Plaxo is very limited (Yahoo! Address Book).
However, with Autosync for Outlook, and Go for Smartphone, Yahoo offers a solution almost complete synchronization of personal data.
