The synchronization service of AOL, AOL Sync is now compatible with the SyncML protocol, and provides a plugin for Outlook.

SyncML compatibility allows you to synchronize all PIM data (contacts, calendar and tasks) to a mobile compatible (in fact most phones) with contacts, calendar and tasks from AOL.

In addition AOL has partnered with Funambol and offers a plugin for Outlook that allows also to synchronize contacts, calendar and tasks with an AOL account.

AOL mail is already accessible by IMAP, with the new synchronization capabilities, AOL is the first "big" service provider offering free online full synchronization solution that offers neither Google or Yahoo or MSN / Windows Live.

This first volume presents the methods and tools to synchronize their Yahoo! account with your mobile phone and PIM manager (Outlook, Outlook Express, ...) on a PC or Mac.
