Tous d’abord rapellons que Google Maps est accessible de 2 façons: soit en WAP/xHTML avec le navigateur de votre mobile, soit avec l’application du meme nom à télécharger et installer sur votre mobile.

La derniere version de l’application est capable de vous géolocaliser, et ce meme si votre mobile n’est pas GPS ! Cette possibilité n’est toutefois fournie que par des mobiles récents, capables de transmettre à l’application Google Maps les coordonnées GSM.

Pour vérifier si votre mobile est compatible avec cette fonction, lancez l’application Google Maps, allez dans Menu > Aide > A propos de /Infos, tout en bas figure l’indication myl: si elle indique N/A, votre mobile ne prend pas en charge My Location, sinon c’est tout bon !
